Lux VR States Sàrl-s — business permit

1. Services

DEEV is a brand of Lux VR States Sàrl-s and provides digital services, in particular websites and e-commerce, custom software and web applications, AI solutions and automation, and digital marketing.

Depending on the project, concept work, strategy, design, content, technical setup, integrations, consulting, training, maintenance and support may also be agreed.

Which services a given project includes follows the agreement made with that client.

2. Quotes, engagement and payment

Scope, price and payment terms are agreed individually for each project.

Depending on the project, a deposit, full payment in advance, payment in instalments or another payment structure may be agreed. Any payment deadlines follow the relevant quote, order confirmation, invoice or other project agreement.

Where VAT applies, it is shown in accordance with the applicable rules.

3. Changes and additional work

The agreed price relates to the scope agreed for that project.

Later requests, extensions or additional work going beyond that scope can incur additional cost and affect the schedule. Scope, impact and any additional fee are agreed before the work is carried out.

4. Public funding programmes

Public funding programmes may be available for certain companies and projects. Eligibility, conditions, procedure and the amount of any funding follow solely the terms in force at the competent public bodies.

Current information is available in particular from Guichet.lu, the House of Entrepreneurship at the Chambre de Commerce and — for craft businesses — the eHandwierk service at the Chambre des Métiers.

Where agreed for a specific project, DEEV can help prepare project-related information. Eligibility and approval are decided solely by the competent public body. DEEV cannot guarantee any funding commitment or approval.

5. Rights in work produced

The rights of use, modification and handover a client receives in work produced during a project are agreed for that project.

This applies in particular to source code, technical files, documentation, designs, content and the option of technical support by a third party.

Client-specific work may be distinguishable from DEEV’s general building blocks, tools and non-confidential know-how. The precise extent of the respective rights follows the project agreement.

Software, libraries, platforms, content and other third-party components are additionally subject to their own rights and licence terms.

6. Cookies, consent and tracking

We use storage that is technically necessary for the site to work and for your cookie choice to be remembered. Google Analytics is only activated if you explicitly consent to statistics. Without that consent the Google Analytics tag is not loaded at all. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer of the site.

Strictly necessary

Set on the legal basis of Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, which does not require consent for what is technically necessary to deliver the service you asked for.

Analytics, only with consent

Google Analytics 4, operated by Google Ireland Limited, measurement ID G-K0T15PZHMN. It counts visits and shows which pages are read. Nothing is requested from Google before you consent: the script is not fetched, no event is sent and no cookie is written. Consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

  • _gaDistinguishes one visitor from another so visits can be counted. · Google Ireland Limited2 years
  • _ga_K0T15PZHMNKeeps the state of the current visit for this property. · Google Ireland Limited2 years

What we do not do matters as much. Google Analytics receives no identifier that names you: no account, no email address, no User-ID, and nothing you type into a form. We upload no data to it from anywhere else and we join its data with nothing else we hold, so what it records is a visit to this website and nothing more. It builds no cross-device or cross-site profile of you, and it is not used for advertising audiences, remarketing or ad personalisation. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses; the address is used to derive an approximate location and then discarded. Google keeps the data for the retention period set on our property and deletes it afterwards.

Advertising storage, ad personalisation and ad user data are denied at all times, and we run no advertising or remarketing products on this site.

Embedded video

The marketing section contains videos hosted on YouTube. The player itself is not loaded until you press play, so no YouTube script runs and no third-party storage is set on your device before that. The still frame you see beforehand is the video's own thumbnail, requested from Google's image host (i.ytimg.com) as that part of the page comes into view: that request sets no cookies, but it does tell Google that a browser loaded this page, including your IP address. When you press play, the player loads from youtube-nocookie.com, which serves the video without advertising cookies, and YouTube may then store what it needs to play it and count the view. Pressing play is your own choice.

Live previews of client websites

On a case study you can open the client's real website inside a frame on the page. Nothing loads until you press that button. When you do, your browser connects directly to that site, exactly as if you had typed its address: it receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, and what it does with them is governed by its own policy, not ours. The screenshot you see beforehand is served from this site and connects to nobody.

The WhatsApp button

The floating button and the one in the footer are ordinary links. They load nothing and set nothing while you are here. Following one hands you to WhatsApp, and from that point WhatsApp and Meta process the conversation under their terms — we receive only the message you choose to send us.

Your consent record

Your cookie choice is stored in a DEEV consent record. It holds the categories you selected, a random reference, the date and time, and the version of the consent information you were shown. The record exists so your choice can be kept and the consent version used remains traceable. It is stored in the deev_consent cookie on your device and mirrored in your browser's local storage. It expires after twelve months, and we ask again sooner if this policy changes.

Changing or withdrawing your choice

Withdrawal is as easy as consent, as Article 7(3) GDPR requires. Open the dialog below, or use “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page. Withdrawing deletes the record, returns analytics to its denied state and shows the banner again. You can also clear this site's data in your browser, which has the same effect.

7. Data protection and GDPR

The controller for the processing described here is Lux VR States S.à r.l.-S, 17 rue de Sélange, L-4965 Clemency, Luxembourg. We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Luxembourg legislation. Data is never sold, and it is never used to build a profile of you.

What we process, and on what legal basis

  • An enquiry you send us — your name, email address, and whatever you write in the message or on the phone. We use it to answer you and, if it leads to work, to prepare and perform the contract. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Measurement of how this site is used, only after you allow it. Article 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Server logs kept by our host, including IP addresses, to keep the site available and to defend it against abuse. Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in a site that stays up.
  • Contracts, invoices and accounting records, which Luxembourg commercial law requires us to keep. Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Who else handles your data

We use three service providers. They act on our instructions, under contract, and for nothing but the purpose named here. No one else receives your data unless the law obliges us.

  • Vercel — hosting. This site and the function behind the contact form run on their infrastructure, so every request reaches them, including your IP address.
  • Resend — email delivery. When you send the contact form, its contents pass through Resend to reach our mailbox.
  • Google Ireland Limited — analytics, and only if you consent. Section 7 describes exactly what it does and does not receive.

These providers may process data outside the European Union. We have not finished documenting how each of those transfers is safeguarded, so we do not state a mechanism here. Ask us and we will tell you what we have established for a given provider.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as the purpose it was collected for requires, or for as long as a statutory retention obligation applies. Once neither does, it is deleted.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us for access to your data, for a copy of it in a portable form, for it to be corrected, erased or its processing restricted, and you may object to processing we base on legitimate interest. Where processing rests on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what was lawful beforehand. We answer within one month.

If you are not satisfied

You can lodge a complaint with the Luxembourg supervisory authority, the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD), 15 boulevard du Jazz, L-4370 Belvaux, cnpd.lu — or with the authority in the EU country where you live or work. You do not have to contact us first, though we would rather you did.

To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@deev.lu. Please tell us which right you are exercising, so we can deal with it properly.
